suburban kids are slow on fashion?
for the pursuit of happiness asked:

and whenever i go to the suburbs i see kids with stuff that was in years agoo

like suburban girls are still in the preppy phase- which happened like 5 years ago
in nyc the “ghetto style” is in like the urban hiphop but thats going out
now its Funky fresh hiphop and emo
well this is with most teenagers
i dont follow any of these styles i have my own but this is what ive noticed
accuatly the poorer kids are ghetto
and middle class is emo or trendy
upper class is designer
in nyc theres mostly upper middle class or upper class
Fashion Bags
different regions just have different styles or “substyles”
and new york is high fashion; you can’t compare it to the suburbs.

i guess i live in the suburbs
but we are a few miles away from NYC
and i gues you can call us rich b*itches
at lease everyone has a whole entire juicy couture outfit and the rest will be either hollister or abercrombie
at lease one coach bags
but most of us have louis vuittons, dior, prada, etc.
so yeah we are PREPPY
but that is the style it has been………since forever

no in Virginia it is all about preppy ,girly,tomboy

Where I live, everyone is rich and ‘preppy.’ We all have like Juicy, Dior, Coach, etc.
